Nicholas D. Westrick

Nicholas D. Westrick, age 60, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, August 1, 2016 at his home in Cromwell, IN. He was born to the late Lewis Paul and Sharon (Jones) Westrick on April 27, 1956 in Garrett, IN.

He leaves behind his precious friend, Meg Rodecap of Auburn, IN; Mother and Step-Father Sharon and Bernard Bronsink of Bowling Green, OH; sister, Susan (Kenneth) Haynes of Barefoot Bay, FL; brother’s, John Scott (Maryann) Ridgway of Chicago, IL, Michael (Bren) Ridgway of Rudolph, OH, and David (Michelle) Ridgway of Delaware, OH; aunt’s, Eunice Smith of Royalton, IL, Marjorie Sebert of Kendallville, IN, and Linda Brown of Evansville, IN; along with two uncle’s, Roger (Carol) Jones of Angola, IN and John (Crystal) Jones of Claire, MI.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Sue Westrick; father, Lewis Paul Westrick Sr.; and brother, Lewis Paul Westrick Jr.

Nicholas worked for many years with an exceptional work ethic in the automotive department at Walmart in Goshen, IN. In his spare time he really enjoyed anything car or mechanic related. He had two cats that he shared everything with.

A private graveside service will take place on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 11AM at Calvary Cemetery – on Hamsher Street in Garrett, IN. Pastor James Farrer will officiate.
