William F. “Bill” Kaser, age 66, of Wawaka, IN passed away unexpectedly, Sunday Morning, May 31, 2009 as the result of an automobile accident that took place in LaGrange County, IN.
He was born January 20, 1943, in Cosperville, Indiana to Roman and Bertha (Steinbarger) Kaser.
Bill was a lifetime area resident. He worked for Johnson Controls in Goshen for over 10 years, owned and operated Kaser Flowers in Rome City for 29 years & had spent the last 8 years working for Dollar General in Shipshewana.
Bill Graduated from Wawaka High School in 1961 & went on to serve his country honorably from 1961-1965 in the United States Army. He was also a member of the Cosperville Baptist Church.
He is survived by a sister, Beverly (Bill) Martin of Wawaka, a brother, Vernon Kaser of Wawaka, a niece, Mary Ellen Martin of Wawaka, 2 nephews, Curtis Dale Martin and Charles L. Martin both Wawaka, several cousins including Sharon Steinbarger of South Bend. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held Thursday June 4, 2009 at 11 AM at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier.
Burial will be in Cosperville Cemetery.
Calling will be from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Wednesday June 3, 2009 at the Funeral Home.
