She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and formerly a member of Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church. After retirement, she and her husband lived in Sebring, FL for many years enjoying every day like the vacation that dairy farmer’s life never allows. While in Florida she remained very active as a volunteer nurse for hospice as well as in the church thrift shop. Lastly, Jean was very proud of the fact that all five of her adult children graduated from Purdue. Go Boilermakers!
