William Browning

William “Bill” Browning Jr., age 76, of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away suddenly on Friday April 1, 2016. He was born on July 14, 1939 in Kimmell, IN., to the late William E. Sr. and Esther (Johnston) Browning of South Bend, IN.

He graduated class of 1957 from Mishawaka high school in Mishawaka, IN. Bill was a member of the “Olive Club” and employed at S.W.A.C. – School of Fort Wayne.

He will be missed by his wife of 54 years; Leona (Edison) Browning; brother Ronald (Sue) Browning; sister Cora (Marv) Colley; daughter; Shannon (Tim) Huguenard; sons: Shawn (Holly) Browning; Shayne (Kelly) Browning; and grandchildren; Jesse, Melody, Riley, and Kelsey Browning; as well as several nieces and nephews.

William is preceded in death by his sister; Margaret Starkweather and brother; Charles “Chuck” (Martha) Browning.


A graveside service in William's honor will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 11AM at Sparta Cemetery located in Kimmell, IN.
