Thad M. Price

Thad M. Price, 86, of Kimmell, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2016 at Peabody Retirement Community. He was born on the day after Christmas in 1929 to Levi D. and Beulah (Miller) Price in Albion.
Thad graduated from Wolf Lake High School with the class of 1948. He went on to honorably serve in the US Army from 1952 to 1954 as a paratrooper and mechanic, achieving the rank of corporal. With his GI bill, Thad furthered his education in agriculture and agribusiness. He was proud of both his education, and his life as a farmer.

On January 31, 1954, Thad married Doris Wysong in Albion. They were married for 62 years.

He will be missed by his wife, Doris and two sons Tony (Julianna) Price and William (Danielle) Price, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Thad was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, J. Lowell Price; two children, Chad Price and Candy Price; and a step-daughter, Connie Click.

There are no services scheduled for Mr. Price at this time. Burial will take place at a later date in Sparta Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to the charity of the donor’s choice.
