Rebecca Ann Lewis

Rebecca Ann Lewis, 43 of Ligonier, IN passed away at her home on the evening of Tuesday, February 23, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was born on August 9, 1972 the daughter of Ralph and Nancy (Poindexter) Lewis in Richmond, IN. You could always find Rebecca with her nose in a romance novel or a sci-fi book. Reading was her favorite pastime. The cartoon character also known as Garfield, was something that Rebecca collected. A story to remember her by with growing up with many siblings is that if she couldn't be on the wagon, she made sure to drive the tractor. Family time was something that was always on her to-do list. Being a great Aunt showed through to her never ending love for her nieces and nephews. She will be terribly missed by her mother, Nancy Lewis of Ligonier, IN; Siblings; Randle (Michelle) Lewis, of Modoc, IN; Robert (Christina) Lewis of Kendallville, IN and Richard Lewis, of Ligonier, IN. Additionally her aunts, uncles, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews will miss her. Rebecca was preceded in death by her grandparents, three uncles and beloved Father, Ralph. Family and friends are invited to share in the celebration of Rebecca's life on Saturday, February 27, 2016 from 1PM-4PM at Yeager Funeral Home - 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767. Sunday, February 28, 2016 from 4PM to 7PM at Culberson's Funeral Home - 51 S Washington St, Hagerstown, IN 47346. A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 29, 2016 at the Culberson's Funeral Home in, Hagerstown, IN 47346 beginning at 1PM with a visitation from 12PM to 1PM prior to the service. Chaplain, Ken Weaver will officiate. A burial will follow at the Mooreland Cemetery, in Mooreland, IN.
