Donna Jean Lambright

Donna Jean Lambright, 83, of Topeka, IN passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday January 27, 2016 at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born on October 22, 1932, the daughter of Jack and Anna Fasig in Elkhart, IN. On December 31, 1950, she married Floyd “Curly” Lambright; he passed away October 3, 1997.

She is survived by five children, Gary (Sherry) Lambright of Topeka, Cheryl “Sherrie” Krull of Topeka, Kevin (Vickie) Lambright of Wolcottville, Karen (John) Bailey of Topeka, and James (Jamie) Lambright of Wolcottville; six grandchildren, Derrick Lambright and Amy Lambright both of Topeka, Dusty Rose Krull of Reno, Nevada, and Haley (Nate) Hedges of Howe, IN, Tara Bailey and Tori (Mike) Turner of Goshen, IN; ten great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Lori Buys of Sturgis, MI.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and two sisters, Kate (Bob) Andrews and Betty (Tom) Costello.

Donna graduated from Concord High School and was a faithful member of Topeka Mennonite Church for several decades. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved to cook. She was quite the cook and was always trying new recipes for everyone to enjoy.

A funeral service in honor of Donna will be held at 10 AM on Monday February 1, 2016 at Topeka Mennonite Church, 206 East Lake Street, Topeka, IN 46571. Pastor Kevin Swartzendruber will officiate. Burial will follow at Eden Cemetery in Topeka, IN.
