Thomas L. Lord

Thomas L. Lord, of Ligonier, age 72, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 3PM. He was born on February 3, 1943, to Thomas and Annabell (Byrne) Lord in Philadelphia, PA. On July 22, 1967, he married Margie Mae Bauer; she survives.

Thomas enjoyed playing football when he was a little younger, watching sports, and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. He enjoyed being outside. He also had a special talent for painting little toy soldiers, which came from being an avid history buff.

Also surviving are his children, Dawn Lord of Columbus, OH; Tina (Marty) Bosse, of Hamilton, IN; Cheryl (Gary) Mock of Bryan, OH; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a brother, Michael (Barb) Lord of Narvon, PA; and a sister, Diane (John) Carlin of Philadelphia, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Joan Tamburro and Kathleen Lord.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 5PM on Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at St. Patrick’s Church, 300 Ravine Park Dr., Ligonier, IN. Father Wilson Corzo will officiate. A private family burial will take place at a later date.

A time of visitation will be held on from 3PM to 5PM prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. Memorial donations may be sent to Noble County Library or Steuben County Humane Society.
