Roger L. Targgart

Roger L. Targgart age 53, of Wawaka, IN passed away Monday April 6, 2009 at 8:56 PM at Goshen General Hospital, Goshen, IN after a brief illness.

He was born December 08, 1955 in LaGrange, the son of Ronald and Clara Mae (High) Targgart.

On June 9, 1979 he married Crystal M. (Conrad). He was a lifelong area resident.

He worked as a foreman for Starcraft RV for nearly 30 years. He enjoyed touring lighthouses, going to tractor and steam shows and visiting train museums.

Survivors include his wife, Crystal Targgart of Wawaka; 3 Children, Matthew (Robin) Targgart of Ligonier, Travis (Candice) Targgart of Ligonier, Stacey (Travis) Holton of Coeur d'Arlene, ID; parents, Ronald (Clara Mae) Targgart of Kendallville; sister, Karen Lambright of Topeka; niece, Rachel Eminger of Granger; Nephew, Adam Lambright of Topeka; great-nephew, Tyler Eminger of Howe; mother-in-law, Mary Conrad of Albion; brother-in-law, Brian Conrad of Kimmell.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William and Edith (Mapes) High; paternal grandparents, Ted and Mary (Domer) Targgart; father-in-law, Donald Conrad.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday April 11, 2009 at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN, with Pastor Jimmy Robbins officiating.

Burial will take place at Sparta Cemetery, Kimmell.

Friends may call on Friday April 10, 2009 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
