Mark A. Vosteen

Mark A. Vosteen, age 58, of Ligonier, IN passed away following an illness early morning on Sunday, November 29, 2015. He was born on July 27, 1957, the son of Hans Adolf and Carol Louise (Sthair) Vosteen in Elkhart, IN. On June 4, 1988 he married Kathleen (Caffrey) Vosteen; she survives.

Also surviving are siblings, Michael Vosteen of Ligonier, IN, Christina Vosteen of Naperville, IL; children Matthew (Elizabeth) Morse of Fishers, IN, Heather & Mason (Morse) Campbell of Hutchinson, KS, Victor Vosteen of Ligonier, IN and Helen Vosteen of Ligonier, IN.

He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
Mark served in the United States Airforce for seven years as a jet mechanic and crew chief. He achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant and was honorable discharged.

Mark was an incredibly hard worker and worked as a technician for Parker Hannifin of Syracuse on their operating press team for many years. He grew up enjoying fishing and the outdoors. You could find him in his spare time working on motorcycles and cars along with being an avid antique garden tractor collector.

As per the request and wishes of Mark, there will be no formal viewing, funeral, nor memorial service.
