Dulcie Cox

Dulcie Cox, age 84, of McAllen, TX, formerly of Syracuse, IN passed away Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Solara Hospital in McAllen, TX. Dulcie was born on December 2, 1924 in Cold Fork, WV to Leslie and Alice (Ingram) Criner. She married Arley "Bud" Cox on December 9, 1947. He passed away December 1988.

Dulcie made her home in Albion, IN with her Daughter Joan for 14 years before moving to Texas in 2007. She was a homemaker her entire life. She attended the Baptist Church for many years.

She is survived by 6 children: Joan (Dan) Routsong of Albion, Steve Cox of Albion, Sharon (Wayne) Yates of Indianapolis, Kathy (Don) Irwin of Goshen, Cheryl Cox of Goshen, Guy Cox of Fort Wayne; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 1 grandchild, 3 brothers, 2 sisters and her parents.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday March 26, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Yeager Funeral Home in Ligonier with Rev. Russell Fuhrmann officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday March 25, 2009 at the Funeral Home from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and 1 hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will be in Syracuse Cemetery. Memorial Contributions should be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church, Ligonier.
