Edith I. Landon Goodrich

Edith I. Landon Goodrich, age 93 of Ligonier, IN passed away March 11, 2009 at 6:15 PM at Avalon Village in Ligonier, IN from natural causes.

Edith was born September 26, 1915 in Centerville, IN to William & Eppie (Ewers) Cooper. In 1935 she married Herschel Landon, he preceded her in death. She then married Kenneth Goodrich in 1964; he also preceded her in death.

She moved to Wawaka from Richmond, IN in 1955 and has resided in Ligonier since 1963.

Edith graduated from Centerville High School in 1933 & worked as a cook at Dari Point in Ligonier for many years.

She is survived by 1 Son: Bill (Karen) Landon of Adams Lake, 4 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren & 1 great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by 1 daughter: Sharon Laurie, her parents and 5 brothers.

A private family service will be held & burial will take place at Oak Park Cemetery in Ligonier, IN. Memorial Contributions may be made to Wawaka Alumni Scholarship Fund in care of the Noble County Community Foundation.
