Ramon Villa

Ramon Villa, age 87, of Ligonier, IN passed away on the afternoon of November 29, 2015 at his home. He was born on August 30, 1928, in Huiscolco, Zacatecas Mexico and was the son of Jesus and Petra (Velasco) Villa.

Ramon is survived by his children, Salvador Villa, Maria de Jesus Serna, Maria Rodriguez, Ramona Villa, Martina Villa, Manuel Villa, Jesus Villa, Santiago Villa, Nicolas Villa;  39 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.  He will be sadly missed by his large extended family as well.

He was preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife, Elvira Villa; and his daughter, Guillermina (Villa) Ruvalcaba.

Ramon retired from being a field worker for numerous farms all across the land. His favorite pastime was to spend time with his very large family.

A funeral service in Ramon’s honor will held at 1PM on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at St. Patrick’s Parish 300 Ravine Park Drive in Ligonier, IN.  Father Wilson Corzo will officiate.

Family and friends will be received from 2PM – 8PM at Yeager Funeral Home 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN; on Tuesday, December 1, 2015.
