Myrle "Be" Sprunger

Myrle O. “Be” Sprunger, age 88 of Ligonier, IN passed away March 9, 2009 at 12:15 PM at Avalon Village in Ligonier from natural causes.

She was born February 1, 1921 in Hillsdale, MI to Eli and Olive M. (Baldwin) Amstutz. On August 30, 1938 she married Harry L. Sprunger, he preceded her in death in 1987.
“Be” moved to the Ligonier area from Mount Morris, Illinois in 1947, was a Homemaker, attended the Ligonier Presbyterian Church and enjoyed racing horses.

Survivors include 1 Son: Wayne A. (Judy) Sprunger of Auburn, IN, 9 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews, & 1 Daughter in-law: Cathy Sprunger of Laurel, MD.

She was preceded in Death by her husband: Harry L. Sprunger, 2 Sons: Dennis O. Sprunger and Dale L. Sprunger, 1 Brother: Robert Amstutz & 1 Sister: Orma Parkson

A funeral service will be held Thursday, March 12, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Yeager Funeral Home- Ligonier, IN with Rev. Stanley R. Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Park Cemetery- Ligonier, IN
