Lillian Mae (Umbaugh) Hursey, 90, of Cromwell, Indiana passed away on November 21, 2015 at Countryside Meadows American Senior Communities, Avon, Indiana after a lengthy illness of Alzheimer's disease.
Lillian was born on August 9, 1925 in Chicago, Illinois to John and Mary (Smith) Umbaugh. She was a life long cat lover and Chicago Cubs Baseball fan. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior in 1943. Lillian was a member of Cromwell United Methodist Church for over 60 years.
Lillian was a volunteer of West Noble Food Pantry for many years and past vice president of West Noble Food Pantry Board of Directors.
Lillian was preceded in death by her Father (John) in 1963, Mother (Mary) in March 1988, Husband (Darrel) in September 1988, and Brother (George) in October 1988.
Lillian is survived by a beloved sister & brother-in-law, Alice & Merrill Deardorff of Hanna, IN and several beloved nephews and nieces.
A celebration of life service will be Thursday, December 3, 2015, 5:00 pm, at Cromwell United Methodist Church. Pastor Marilyn Gebert will officiate. (Lillian has donated her body to Anatomical Education Program of Indiana University)
