Linda Rae Crothers

Linda Rae Crothers, age 67, of Ligonier, IN passed away at home on October 29, 2015 as the result of natural causes. She was born on December 5, 1947 in Logansport, IN the daughter of N. Russell and Wanda L. (Hopper) King. She married Roger Crothers; he preceded her in death.

She is survived by a sister, Karen (Daniel) Shartzer of Brownsburg, IN; nephews: Jason Shartzer and Joshua Shartzer both of, Indianapolis, IN, Joel Shartzer of Brownsburg, IN, and a sister-in-law, Cindy (Crothers) Hess of Huntington, IN. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and a sister, Susan.

Linda attended Ligonier United Methodist Church where she was a faithful and devout member. She was a very cheerful and loving person who always met you with a smile, a wave and her signature “heey”. Linda will be greatly missed by her many friends, family, and extended family at the church.

A funeral service in Linda’s honor will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 4PM at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South; Ligonier, IN. Pastor Jill Wright will officiate. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery.
