Mack Shepherd

Mack Shepherd, age 80, of Ligonier, IN passed away on Monday, August 31, 2015 at 10:45 PM at Goshen Hospital in Goshen, IN. He was born on March 16, 1935 to Henderson and Lucindy (Johnson) Shepherd in Hazard, KY.

He worked at Starcraft for 23 years, Commodore Homes for 7 years, and then Kroger for 5 years. Mack was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Ligonier. He coached city league baseball in Ligonier for 11 years.

Surviving are his two grandchildren, Morgan Noe of Syracuse and Summar Noe of North Webster; and one brother, Adam Shepherd.

Mack was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Rhonda Noe; and three sisters, Rachel Miller, Arzona Edwards, and Lorna Combs; two brothers, Floyd E. Miller and Ronald Shepherd.

A funeral service will be held in Mr. Shepherd’s honor on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 2 PM at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767 with Pastor John Lutton officiating. Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery in Ligonier, IN.

There will be a time of visitation on Saturday, September 5, 2015 from 10-2 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
