Stephen Michael Gillespie

Stephen Michael Gillespie, age 65, of Baytown, Texas, formerly of Ligonier, passed away on June 10, 2015 in the Michael E. Bebakey VA Medical Center. He was born on February 26, 1950 to Donald and Rosemary (Prucinsky) Gillespie in Kendallville, Indiana.

He graduated from Ligonier High School in 1968. After high school, Steve enlisted in the United States Army and served his country honorably. He worked construction in Louisiana and Texas.

Surviving are his son, Daniel Shea of Arkansas; his mother, Rosemary Gillespie of Ligonier; two siblings, Michael (Melissa) Gillespie of Colorado, and Christopher (Penny) Gillespie of Ligonier.

A graveside service will be held in Mr. Gillespie’s honor on Monday, August 31, 2015, at 11 AM at Oak Park Cemetery in Ligonier.
