Anastacio Lopez

Anastacio Lopez, age 47, of Syracuse, IN passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 as a result of a hit and run. He was born on June 30, 1967 to Jaime Lopez Ramirez and Esperanza Torres Alvarez in Galeana N. L., Mexico. On April 30 1989, Aastacio married Diana C. Sanchez. She survives.

He owned A & D Riverside tire shop and was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Anastacio enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Surviving are his wife, Diana; three daughters, Juliana Lopez, Dulce E. Lopez, Josselyn Lopez; two grandchildren, Bently and Aden Gomez-Lopez; his mother; siblings, Raul Felix, Gloria Lopez, Baldemara Lopez, Jose Luis Lopez, Macarmen Lopez, Francisco Lopez. He was preceded in death by his father and two nephews.

A funeral mass will be held in Mr. Lopez’s honor on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at 3 PM at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 300 Ravine, Ligonier, IN 46767 with Father Corzo officiating. Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery in Ligonier, IN.

There will be a time of visitation on Monday, June 22, 2015 from 2-8 PM at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767 and one hour prior to the service at the church.
