Lyle Eugene Herschberger

Lyle Eugene Herschberger, 12, along with his brother Michael Lynn, passed away unexpectedly Monday January 12, 2009 at the family residence.

He was born on January 3,1997 in Goshen to David B. and Arlene W. (Bontrager) Hershberger. He lived in Ligoner all his life. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church and was also a 6th grader at West Noble Middle School.

Surviving are his Parents, 3 brothers; Myron (Martha) Herschberger of Ligonier, Leon (Loretta) Herschberger of Shipshewana, Lavon Herschberger of Ligonier, & his special friend Jolene Bontrager of Shipshewana, 2 sisters; Marla (Jason) Knepp of Ligonier, Joanne Herschberger of Ligonier and her special friend, Luke Troyer of Nappanee, grandparents; William (Lettie) Bontrager of LaGrange and Lizzie Herschberger of Topeka, nieces and nephews; Emily, Waylon, Joel and Keven Herschberger and Benjamin Knepp. He is also survived by many aunts,uncles, cousins and countless friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Ben Herschberger.

Calling will be after 4 PM Wednesday January 14, and all day Thursday January 15, at the family residence, 5009 W 1000 N., Ligonier.

Services will be at 1 PM Friday January 16, at the residence, with Bishop David Miller & The Home Ministers officiating.

Pallbearers will be Lavon Miller, Gerald Miller, Wilbur Miller, Harley Miller, LaWade Schwartz, Jon Miller.

Burial will be in Clear Springs Cemetery, Topeka.
