Carol Vanoni

Carol Vanoni, age 60, of Ligonier, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 11:13 AM at IU Health Goshen Hospital, Goshen, Indiana. She was born on November 19, 1954 and at the age of 4 years became the daughter of Joe and Becky (Stoltzfus) Zehr.

Mrs. Vanoni attended the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, crocheting and crafts. Carol was an animal lover and enjoyed caring for her cats.

She is survived by her son, Corbett Vanoni of Minneapolis, MN; a sister, Donna (Greg) Conrad of Arizona; brother, Tim (Temple) Miller of Alexandria, IN; half-brother, Brad (Karen) Teeters of Fostoria, OH; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to The IU Health Goshen Hospital Oncology Department, Nurse Mary of the Parkview LaGrange Hospital, and the Topeka Pharmacy for their support.

There will be a memorial service held in Mrs. Vanoni’s honor on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 12 PM at Stone’s Hill Church,151 W Stones Hill Rd, Ligonier, IN 46767 with Celebrant Larry Baker officiating. A private cremation committal will take place at Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center.

A time of visitation will be May 23, 2015 from one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in c/o Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767.
