Margie I. Meroney

Margie I. Meroney, age 86, of Ligonier, IN passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 5:30 AM at Avalon Village in Ligonier. She was born March 29, 1929 in Allen County, Indiana to William and Marguerite (DeLagrange) Lengacher Sr. Margie married Leland Meroney Sr. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Meroney was lifelong area resident. She worked for Starcraft RV and the Charger House. Margie attended the Church of Christ in Ligonier
She is survived by one daughter, Debbie (Greg) Biggs of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one sister, Annette (Dan) Royce; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers, and two sisters.
A funeral will be held in Mrs. Meroney’s honor on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767, with Pastor Randy Penwell officiating. Burial will be in Oak Park, Ligonier, IN.
A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 from 5-8 PM at Yeager Funeral Home.
