Peggy Baker

Peggy H. Baker, age 73, of Topeka, IN passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at 9:45 AM. She was born December 30, 1941 the daughter of Coda & Maudie (Hamlin) Colwell. On December 23, 1961 she married Marshall Baker in Hazard, KY. She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Sharon (Lowell) Johnson of Topeka, IN, and Lori (Gable) Shrock of Ligonier, IN; four grandchildren, Brandon (Lynlee) Howard of Cromwell, IN, Chelsea (Clay) Preston of Ligonier, IN, Austin Shrock of Gaylord, MN, and Makala Howard of Topeka, IN; one great-grandson, Everett Preston; and six siblings, Ronald Colwell, Joyce Lee Collins, Rose Collins, William M. Colwell, Boyd Colwell, and Lloyd Colwell; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter, Priscilla Baker, and seven siblings. Peggy retired from Starcraft Marine after 43 years of dedicated service. She enjoyed camping and spending time with her grandchildren. A funeral service will be held in her honor on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 2PM at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South; Ligonier, IN 46767. Pastors Joey Nelson & Pat Park will officiate. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Topeka, IN Family and friends will be received from 5-8 PM on Friday February 20, 2015 at the funeral home and from 1-2 prior to the service on Saturday.
