Cecil W. Johnson

Cecil W. Johnson, 79, of Ligonier, passed away at his residence on November 25, 2008. He was born on April 11, 1929, in Noble County, Indiana, to Cecil W. & Lottie (Vance) Johnson.

Married to Imogene (West), Cecil was a lifetime area resident. He retired from Dana Corporation after 33 years, worked for the Ligonier Parks and Recreation Department and proudly served his Country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Cecil was a member of the American Legion Post 243 and the Millersburg Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Granddaughter: Mandy Woodruff of Elkhart and 3 Great-grandchildren: Alaina, Callum & Raven. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son: Kirby Johnson and a brother: Raymond D. Johnson.
