Bertha L. Miller-Troyer

Bertha L. Miller-Troyer, 91, of Ligonier, passed away on January 22, 2015 at her son’s home. She was born on March 8, 1923 in Haven, Kansas to Lewis and Albina (O’Neal) Meier. She married Jake Miller. He preceded her in death in 1967. She then married Jerry Troyer in 1971. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by a son, Paul (Linda) Miller, of Cromwell, IN; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxilary in Kansas.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathryn Marlene, a brother and 3 sisters.

A graveside service in her honor will be on Wednesday January 28, 2015 at 12:00 P.M. at Maple Grove Cemetery in Topeka, IN. Pastor Brad Cox will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be given to Autism Foundation or Riley Children's Hospital for pulmonary research.
