Richard Shallenbarger

Richard Shallenbarger, age 82, of Goshen, formerly of Topeka, entered the presence of the Lord on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at IU Health, Goshen, Indiana. He was born on November 1, 1932 to Harold and Wava (Morrow) Shallenbarger in Grand Rapids, MI. On June 9, 1973 he married Esther Mae Lehman in Wooster, Ohio. She survives.

He was a member of Topeka Mennonite Church.

He is survived by his wife, Esther of Goshen; four children, Canda Quinn, Dorothy (Lee) Miller, James (Cindy) Shallenbarger, and John Lung all of Goshen; 11 grandchildren; 21great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister.

A memorial service will be held in Mr. Shallenbarger’s honor on Monday, January12, 2015 at 11AM at Topeka Mennonite Church. Burial will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery in Topeka, IN.
