Margaret "Peggy" Hawn

Margaret “Peggy” Hawn, age 86, of Wawaka, IN passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2014 at 7:55 PM. She was born on July 13, 1928 to Rex and Alice ( Carey ) Morton in Fort Wayne, Indiana. On March 14, 1952 she married Donald Hawn Sr. Surviving are her husband, Donald of Wawaka; four children, Don (Barb) Hawn of Ligonier, Alice (Carl) Fike of Avilla, Suzanne Hursey of Syracuse, and Nancy (Bob) Musser of Wawaka; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 6 special nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Ursula Miller and Maxine Kelly. A Celebration of Life service will be held in Mrs. Hawn’s honor on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at 4 PM at Yeager Funeral Home in Ligonier with Celebrant Larry Baker officiating. Family and friends will be received from 2-4 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to Noble County Humane Society.
