Lolita Joan Mckibbin

Lolita Joan McKibbin, 82, of Middlebury, passed away on August 7, 2014 in Goshen, IN. She was born on May 6, 1932 in Goshen, IN to Buren A. and Nellie V. (Rogers) Powell. She married Larry McKibbin on December 24, 1948 in Topeka, IN. He preceded her in death. Lolita is survived by 2 sons: Larry L. (Carolyn) McKibbin and Louis (Diane) McKibbin, both of Goshen, IN; 2 daughters: Linda Mabie of Crestview, FL, and Larraine (Freeman) Miller of Shipshewana, IN; 12 Grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. A son-in-law, Bill Piggott of Wawaka, also survives. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ann Piggott, and 5 brothers. Mrs. McKibbin worked in the factory and did bookkeeping for McKibbin Corporation. She and her husband owned McKibbin, Inc. She was a member of Ligonier Church of Christ. She loved to play Scrabble. A funeral service in her honor will be on Tuesday August 12, 2014 at 10 AM at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767. Friends may visit with the family on Monday August 11, 2014 from 4-8 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to Ligonier Church of Christ.
