Harvey L. Heintzelman

Harvey L. Heintzelman, 75 of Ligonier passed away Friday July 4, 2014 at his home. He was born on July 8, 1938 to the late Joseph & Anna Mae (McDonald) Heintzelman in Cromwell, IN. On April 8, 1961 in Ligonier, he married Patricia S. Christlieb, who was his beloved wife for 53 years. Surviving are his wife, Patrica Heintzelman of Ligonier; 4 children, Lola (Tim) Terry of Ligonier, Sheila Heintzelman Brimhall of Rome City, Anthony (Tony) Heintzelman of Kimmell and Amy (Curt) Hasting of Ligonier; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and 3 step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brother and 5 sisters. Harvey retired from Kidd & Co. in 1997. He enjoyed spending time with his family & grandchildren, mushroom hunting every spring, fishing all year round and deer hunting in the fall. He also enjoyed Gardening and going to tractor pulls. A funeral service will be held in Harvey’s honor on Thursday July 10, 2014 at 10 AM at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South; Ligonier, IN. Pastor John Lutton will officiate. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery in Ligonier. Pallbearers are Sheila Heintzelman Brimhall, Tony Heintzelman, Travis Brimhall, Justin Brimhall, Matt Massey, Brock Heintzelman, Chuck Christlieb, & Andrew Hasting. Family and friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 PM on Wednesday July 9, 2014 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
