Roque Calvo

Roque Calvo, 84 of Ligonier, passed away on June 24, 2014 at home. He was born on March 26, 1930 in Santiago Papasquiaro, Durango, Mexico to Raymundo Calvo and Luisa Salazar. He married Concepcion Saucedo. She preceded him in death. He then married Maria A. Mena in Mexico. Mr. Calvo is survived by his wife, Maria, of Ligonier, and his children: Jesus, Alejandro, Jorge, Abel, Roque, Jr., Jose Luis, Armando, Carmela, Conchita, Rafa and Lulu. 42 Grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren survive. 4 Brothers and a sister also survive. He was preceded in death by 2 children, Ofelia and Javier, and his first wife, Concepcion Saucedo. Mr. Calvo was a retired machine operator. He enjoyed remodeling his home, traveling and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A time of visitation with the family will be on Friday June 27, 2014 at Yeager Funeral Home from 1 P.M. until 9 P.M. Fr. Wilson Corzo will officiate a Rosary at 6 P.M. There will be a mass in scheduled in Mexico.
