Patrick Dooley

Patrick Dooley, age 59, of Cromwell, IN passed away on Monday, May 19, 2014 at 11:40 PM at Hospice Home in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born on August 9, 1954 to Richard and Vivian (Young) Dooley in Elkhart, Indiana. On December 2, 1978, he married Cynthia Teel. She survives.

He received his GED and went on to serve his country honorably in the 101st Airborne Army. Patrick worked at Flexsteel for 25 years. He enjoyed playing pool, going to the casinos, and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Surviving are his father; two sons, Byron (Tonya) Dooley of Cromwell, Anthony (Abby Graves) Dooley of Columbia City, IN; six grandchildren, Jace Dooley, Kameron Dooley, Kora Dooley, Ashlyn Dooley, Devon Howard, Katelyn Hoemig; six siblings, Timothy (Pam) Dooley, Penelope Chesser, Dennis ( Evelyn) VanAlstine, Lisa Ward all of Elkhart, Charles Hilliard of Anderson, Michaline (Michael) Butler of Elkhart.

Patrick was preceded in death by his mother.

A funeral service will be held in Mr. Dooley’s honor on Friday, May 23, 2014 at 6 PM at Yeager Funeral Home with Celebrant Larry Baker officiating. A private cremation committal will take place at Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center.

There will be a time of visitation on May 23, 2014 from 1-6 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
