Wayne Frame

Wayne Frame, age 96, of Ligonier, IN passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at 2:35 pm at Avalon Village in Ligonier. He was born on July 4, 1917 in Fort Wayne, IN to George Edward and Pauline (Farra) Frame. He married Margaret Ellen Westrick on April 24, 1943 in Chicago, IL; she preceded him in death in 1994.  Mr. Frame then married Helen Seniff in 1998; she preceded him in death June of 2005.

Wayne graduated in 1936 from Central Catholic High School.  He went on to serve his country honorably during World War II in the Navy.  He was discharged in 1945.  Mr. Frame worked for I. T. T. and retired after 39 years of service in 1979.

Survivors include six children, Lowell (Sheri) Frame of Carmel, IN, Neil (Marie) Frame of Golden, CO, Richard (Anita) Frame of Fort Wayne, IN, Toni (Charles) Thompson of Chardon, OH, Susan Saunders, Ann Arbor, MI, Susan Mayberry, Syracuse, IN; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two wives, and a great grandchild.

A funeral service will take place on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 11 AM at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767 with Pastor Phil Schamehorn officiating.  Burial will follow in Oak Park Cemetery, Ligonier, Indiana.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 9, 2014 from 5-8 PM at Yeager Funeral Home.
