Margaret R Bond

Heaven got a beautiful Angel on Tuesday.  Margaret R. (Hunter) Bond, 97, of  Cromwell, went to be in the arms of the Lord on April 29, 2014 at home.  She was born on August 19, 1916 in Albion, IN to Charles and Beulah (Ott) Franks.  She married William Hunter 1939.  He preceded her in death in 1968.  She then married Thomas Bond in 1972.  He preceded her in death in 1978.

Margaret is survived by her children: Son, Jerry (JoElla) Hunter of Toledo, OH, and his children: Kristina (Tim) Tobias (2 great-grandchildren), Amy (Dimitrios) Kargiotis (4 Great-grandchildren), Jennifer (Tony) Sigura (2 great-grandchildren) and Eric (Chivonne) Hunter (1 great-grandchild); Daughter, Janet (Gene) Wolff of St. Joe, MI, and her children: Barbara (Jim) Antonucci (3 great-grandchildren) Brian (Jill) Wolff (2 great-grandchildren) and Brook (Justin) Arney (2 great-grandchildren); Son, Phillip (Sandy) Hunter of Cromwell, IN, and his children: Starr (Kris) Cox (3 great-grandchildren), Lisa Metzinger (2 great-grandchildren), Steffany (Doug) Miller (2 great-grandchildren), Jeffrey (Molly) Hunter (2 great-grandchildren), Michael (Amber) Hunter (3 great-grandchildren) and Christopher (Angie) Hunter (2 great-grandchildren); Daughter, Nena Baker of Middlebury, IN, and her children: Tiffany (John) Miller (6 great-grandchildren) and Susan (Chad) Baker (2 great-grandchildren); Daughter, Marilyn (Wayne) Eash of Ligonier, IN, and her children: Deb (Tim) Schermerhorn (4great-grandchildren), Diane (Kevin) Wagler (1 great-grandchild) and Dawn (Ron) Bechtel (2 great-grandchildren); Nelson (Carol) Hunter of Ligonier, IN, and his children: Kevin Hunter (2 great-grandchildren), Kent (Elizabeth) Hunter (2 great-grandchildren), Kim Hunter (3 great-grandchildren) and Kurt Hunter (5 great-grandchildren).

3 Great-great-great-grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Bruce Wolff, 3 sisters, a brother and a son-in-law, Joe Baker.

She graduated from Albion High School, she then received a Teaching Degree from Manchester College.  She taught at Perry Central Elementary School for 13 years, then she taught at Ligonier Elementary School.  Margaret loved to play

Cards and danced.  She enjoyed watching sports on T.V.

A Funeral Service in her honor will be on Saturday May 3, 2014 at 11 A.M at Stone’s Hill Community Church.  Pastor Joey Nelson will officiate.  Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 2-8 P.M on Friday May 2, 2014 at the church, as well as one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

Memorial contributions may be given to the charity of the donor’s choice.
