Gwen Myers

Gwen Myers, 67, of Cromwell, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at 8:12 AM. She was born on March 30, 1946 in South Bend, Indiana to Walter and Irene (Zwierzynski) Frick. On August 26, 1996 she married Doyle Hensley. He survives.

Mrs. Myers was employed and retired from commercial driving. . She attended the River of Life Church in Elkhart and enjoyed making floral arrangements for the church. She enjoyed all types of crafts and especially enjoyed floral arranging. Gwen was involved in her family and loved sharing time with the grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, two children, Melinda (Gary) Hart of Elkins, West Virginia, Rodney (Julie) Lung of Wakarusa, Indiana; a step-son Glen Hensley II of Columbia City, IN; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers and three sisters.

Mrs. Myers was preceded in death by her parents; a son Robbie.

A funeral service in her honor will be held at the funeral home on Monday, January 27, 2014 at 11 AM. A time of calling will be on Sunday, January 26, 2014 from 2-6 PM and one hour prior to the funeral at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767. Burial will follow in Sparta Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Heartland Hospice Association.

Due to weather conditions, the family of Gwen Myers has decided to postpone her funeral service until 2 P.M. Tuesday January 28, 2014.
