Nedra L. Miller

Nedra L. Miller, of Topeka passed away on December 23, 2013 at the age of 88. She was born on April 3, 1925 in Ligonier, IN. On August 30, 1952 she married Walter “Ray” Miller, he preceded her in death on October 6, 2003. She is survived by two daughters, Connie (Dave) Palmer of Centreville, MI and Patty (Bryce) Elkins of Columbia City, IN; three grandchildren, Steve (Haley) Palmer of Sturgis, MI, Jason (Jenna) Elkins of Columbia City, IN and Erin (Adam) Pianowski of Three Rivers, MI; 9 great-grandchildren, Dylan, Gavin, Addison, Maxson, Elaine, Bryce IV, Bradyn, Avery, and Macy. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a sister, Norma Jean Gose; and a grandson, Bryce B. Elkins III. Nedra was a member of Topeka Mennonite Church and loved to watch sports. She was an avid fan of the Bulls, Da Bears, the Whitesox, and Westview High School basketball. Most importantly Nedra always cheered her grandchildren on in whatever sport they played. A funeral service will be held in Nedra’s honor on Saturday December 28, 2013 at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767 at 1PM. Pastor Harold Gingerich will officiate. Burial will follow at Eden Cemetery in Topeka, IN. Family and friends will be received from 5-8 PM on Friday December 27, 2013 at Yeager Funeral Home.
