Thomas Mccullough

Thomas McCullough, age 80, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2013 at Dekalb Health in Auburn, Indiana. He was born in Whitley County to John Thomas and Marion Etta (Rosenogle) McCullough on December 29, 1932. He honorably served his country from 1950-53 in the Army during the Korean Conflict. On June 11, 1954 he married Judith Hire at Nazarene Church in Churubusco, Indiana. He retired from Dana Corporation with over 42 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, tinkering, his grandchildren and friends at Dari-Point in Ligonier. He shared with his wife, Judith, a family of three children, Larry McCullough of Albion, Lani (Warren) Elliott of Fort Wayne, Lynn (Kathy) McCullough of Ligonier, Indiana. Mr. McCullough is also survived by one sister, Virginia of Ligonier. He also had 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; six siblings, Ellen, Dave, Betty, Geraldine, Roy, and Max. A funeral service will be held in Thomas’s honor on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Stone’s Hill Community Church, 151 Stone’s Hill Road, Ligonier, IN 46767 with Pastors Joey Nelson and Hubert Schmucker officiating. Burial will be in Merriam Christian Cemetery in Merriam. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 PM on Friday, December 20, 2013 at the church.
