James K. "Jimmy" Scott age 24, of Goshen passed away June 10, 2008 as the result of an automoble accident. Jimmy was born on September 26, 1983, at Elkhart General Hospital, to James & Mary (Zimmerman) Scott.
A lifetime area resident of Goshen, Jimmy was a Community Moderator for WM Media. He was a lifetime member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church, where he often played the drums for church services. He aspired to be a Youth Pastor and poured his heart into anything involving the youth department. As a boy, he played Little League and was on the Junior Football League. An injury prevented him from playing football in high school, but, because of his love for the game, he went on to serve as a student manager for the Goshen Redskins football team during his 4 years of high school. He was a history buff who was known for his photographic memory and was, quite possibly, the world's greatest Notre Dame fan. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his Father: James Scott and his Mother: Mary Scott, both of Goshen, his Grandmother: Betty E. Zimmerman of Elkhart, 1 Sister: Nicole "Nicki" (George) Reith, Nephews: Chad & Austin Reith and Niece: Tiffany Reith, all of Goshen. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents: Kelly & Verlie Scott and Floyd Zimmerman.
Services will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2008, 1:00PM, at the Apostolic Pentecostal Church, 63983 C.R. 15, Goshen, IN 46526. Burial will take place at Violet Cemetery in Goshen.
