Sandra Lynn Johnston

Sandra L. “Pam” Johnston, 59, of Cromwell, passed away on October 28, 2013 at Parkview Noble Hospital. She was born on May 12, 1954 in Charleston, West Virginia to Charles Henry and Mildred (Shockey) Porter. She married Johnny Johnston on May 31, 1980. He survives. Surviving are her husband, one son, Jonathan “Chris” Johnston, two brothers, Chuck (Carolyn) Porter and Jim Porter of Ligonier, two sisters, Karen Rollins of Ligonier and Betty Bailes of Charleston, West Virginia. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Michael D. She retired from West Noble School Corporation after 15 years of busing school children. She was also a devoted Sunday School teacher for 40 years. She was a member of The Sanctuary in Syracuse. Friends may visit with the family from 4-6 P.M on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at The Sanctuary, 10121 North State Road 13, Syracuse, IN 46567. A funeral service in her honor will follow the visitation at 6 P.M. Pastors Craig Fritchley and Ron Cox will officiate. There will be a time of visitation with the family from 12-1 P.M. on Friday, November 1, 2013 at Dodd-Payne Funeral Home, 350 West Maple Avenue, Fayetteville, West Virginia, 25840. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Gatewood Road, Fayetteville, WV. Memorial Contributions may be given to The Sanctuary, 10121 North State Road 13, Syracuse, IN 46567.
