Harold L. Bailey

Harold L. Bailey, 65, of Ligonier, passed away on May 26, 2008 at his residence.

He was born July 9, 1942 in Noble County to Schuyler & Mae (Hickman) Bailey. He married Marie Crider on March 25, 1963. She preceded him in death on April 22, 1997. He then married Carla Folk on October 4, 2003. She survives.

Harold was a retired factory worker. He was a 1960 graduate of Wawaka High School. He enjoyed garage sales and finding a good deal. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include wife Carla Bailey of Ligonier, 4 sons: Harold Bailey Jr. of Syracuse, Paul (Elaine) Bailey of Edinburgh, Donny (Glenda) Taylor of Wawaka, and Jamie Taylor of Ligonier, 2 daughters: Teresa (Frank) Sims of Fort Wayne, Sara (Mac) Davidson of Ligonier, 3 brothers: Rex Bailey of Wawaka, Ronald Bailey of Alabama, and Edward (Julianna) Bailey of Florida, 1 sister: Linda (Kenny) Robinson of Ligonier, 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers.

Services will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, May 29, 2008 at the Yeager Funeral Home in Ligonier and will be officiated by Rev. Dennis Judy. Burial will take place at the Oak Park Cemetery in Ligonier.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8PM on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at the funeral home.
