Mona J. Tacker

Mona J. Tacker, 77, of Millersburg, IN passed away on September 6, 2013 at Courtyard Healthcare in Goshen. She was born on September22, 1935 in Peru, IN to Elden and Edna (Dock) Herrell. She married Paul K. Tacker in Peru, IN on December 1, 1955.

She is survived by her husband, Paul, and 2 sons, Michael (Lee) Tacker of Pierceton, IN and Thomas (Laura) Tacker of Wabash, IN. 7 Grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren also survive.

Mrs. Tacker accompanied her husband on Air Force assignments to the United States Air Force Academy, Colorado, the Republic of China (Taiwan), Goose Bay, Labrador, Newfoundland, Canada and Cannon AFB, New Mexico. She was a member of Zion Community Church in Millersburg.

A time of visitation will be from 2-4 P.M. on Sunday September 8, 2013 at Yeager Funeral Home 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767. A graveside service in her honor will be 11 A.M. on Monday September 9, 2013 at Brown Cemetery 11699 C.R. 42, Millersburg, IN 46543. Pastor Chris Howell of Zion Community Church will officiate.
