Mary M. Steele

Mary M. Steele, age 59, of Ligonier passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2013. She was born on February 14, 1954, to Junis T. and Helen (Brickey) Steele in Norton, Virginia. Ms. Steele was a member of the Apostolic Church in Ligonier and enjoyed cross word puzzles and playing games on the computer. She was an avid Michigan and Cubs fan. Family was important to Mary and she enjoyed her nieces and nephews. She is survived four brothers, Glen (Flo) Steele of Ligonier, Gary (Karla) Steele of Kimmell, Randy Steele of Ligonier, Kevin (Cindy Staton) Steele of Albion; one Sister-in-law, Rita Steele of Kimmell; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Thomas; a great niece, Leah; and one sister-in-law, Lisa. There will be a funeral service held in Ms. Steele’s honor on Thursday September 5, 2013 at 11 AM at Yeager Funeral Home with Pastor Joseph Brickey officiating with viewing one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery in Ligonier, Indiana. There will be a time of visitation from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Wednesday September 4, 2013 at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767. Memorial contributions are to Parkview Hospice.
