Marilyn Taylor

Marilyn Taylor, age 72, of Wawaka passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2013. She was born on September 24, 1940, to William and Beulah (Shrock) Whirledge in Goshen, IN. On September 24 she married Ellis Loyd Taylor. He preceded her in death in October 2006.

Mrs. Taylor was a lifetime area resident and enjoyed fishing, bicycling, and most outside activities. She had worked for Essex Wire for 25 years.

She is survived by two sisters, Arlis Krenicky, Almeda Zumbrun both of Millersburg; one brother, Alden Whirledge of Elizabethton, TN; one niece and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

There will be a funeral service held in Mrs. Taylor’s honor on August 31, 2013 at 1 PM at Wawaka Church of the Brethren with Pastor Verne Leininger officiating. The family will host a luncheon at 11 AM with viewing one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Clinton Brick Cemetery in Millersburg.

There will be a time of visitation from 4-7 PM on Friday August 30, 2013 at the Wawaka Church of the Brethren. Memorial contributions are to Wawaka Church of the Brethren.
