Bruce S. Leitch

Bruce S. Leitch, 56, of Kimmell, passed away on June 26, 2013 at home. He was born on February 19, 1957 to Carroll V. and Martha J. (Clouse) Leitch in Kendallville, IN. He married Helen Winkleblack on November 7, 1975 in Albion, IN. He is survived by his wife, Helen, of Kimmell; a sister, Nancy (Ed) White of Larwill, IN; 3 brothers, Norman (Marcia) Leitch of Kimmell, IN, Russ (Colleen) Leitch of Columbia, SC and Tim (Helen) Leitch of Albion, IN. Many nieces and nephews also survive. He also leaves behind his loving companion, his dog Zoey. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Leitch retired from Silgan Plastics as a maintenance man 8 years ago. He loved fishing and mushroom hunting. His family called him Mr. Fix-It. He enjoyed the challenge of being a true storyteller in the family, and regaled them with his tales. A funeral service in his honor will be on Wednesday July 3, 2013 at 10 AM at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767. Pastor Tom Leitch will officiate. Burial will be in Merriam Christian Chapel Cemetery. A time of visitation will be on Tuesday July 2, 2013 from 2-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
