Linda L. Steininger

Linda L. Steininger, age 72, of Cromwell passed away on Sunday May 12, 2013 following a brief battle with cancer. She was born December 10, 1940 the daughter of Harold M. & Elizabeth (McClintic) Bassett in Warsaw, IN. On June 23, 2001 she married Ronald Steininger, he survives. She is also survived by three sons, Tharon C. Smith Jr. of Albion, Timothy (Audrey) Smith of Goshen, IN and Brian Scott (Twila) Smith of Ligonier; three step-children, Robert (Cindy) Steininger of Fayetteville, NC, Evon Steininger and Elise “Chris” Brown both of Kokomo, IN; 20 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren; and one brother, James H. Bassett of North Webster. Linda was a member of Cromwell United Methodist Church and enjoyed camping. Following her retirement from Nisco in Topeka she worked for Charger House in Ligonier. A funeral service will be held at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South; Ligonier, IN 46767 on Thursday May 16, 2013 at 10 AM. Pastor Troy Diersing will officiate. Burial will follow in Syracuse Cemetery in Syracuse, IN. Family & friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 PM on Wednesday May 15, 2013 at Yeager Funeral Home. The family request that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to Goshen Center for Cancer Care.
