Willard Kauffman

Willard Kauffman, 63, of Ligonier, passed away at 8:12 P.M. on April 22, 2013 in Cromwell, IN. He was born on January 26, 1950 in Arthur, IL Eli and Bertha (Herschburger) Kauffman. On July 1, 1972 he married Alanna Mark. He is survived by his wife, Alanna, of Ligonier, and his daughter, Tina (Michael) Cain of Winter Garden, FL. 3 Sisters survive: Ann (Jim) Helmuth of Topeka, Liz (Kenny) Mullett of Nappannee and Linda Schrock of Wolcottville, IN. 3 Brothers also survive: Levi (Janice) Kauffman of Wolcottville, Robert (Debbie) Kauffman of Goshen and David (Karen) Kauffman of Wolcottville. Mr. Kauffman was preceded in death by his son, Todd Kauffman, and his daughter, Tara Kauffman. Mr. Kauffman was a Real Estate Broker with ReMax Results in Goshen for over ten years. He loved his job and had a passion for working with people. He enjoyed fishing and mushroom hunting with family and friends. Willard enjoyed working with his hands and was an amazing wood craftsman. At the age of 61, he raced his first half marathon at Disneyworld. He was a member of Maple Grove Church in Topeka, IN. A funeral service in his honor will be at 10 A.M. Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Maple Grove Church, 806 S. Main St. Topeka, IN 46571. Pastor Barry St. Clair will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Friday, April 26, 2013 at Maple Grove Church from 2-8 P.M.
