Imogene L. Preston

Imogene L. Preston, 95, of Albion passed away at 5:00 A.M. February 22, 2013. She was born on January 30, 1918 in Topeka, IN to Irvin & Ella (Moseman) Fought. She married Clayton Preston on February 6, 1937. He preceded her in death in 2011. She is survived by 5 children: Charlene (Sanford) Hooley of Ligonier; Karen (Jerry) Branham of Ligonier; Linda Burns of Orlando, FL; Kevin (Candy) Preston of Winona Lake, IN and Robert (Vicki) Preston of Wawaka, IN. 11 Grandchildren: Marty (Karen) Leamon, Monty (Jeryl) Leamon, Sean (Sonya) Black, Kari Branham, Lorie (Joe) McColgan, Lane (Amy) Baker, Joseph Preston, James Preston, Sadie Preston, Clay Preston and Drew Preston and 9 Great-Grandchildren also survive. 3 Sisters survive: Joann Keplinger of LaGrange, IN, Jane (Dean) Ulrey of LaGrange, IN and Janice Keenan of LaGrange, IN. Mrs. Preston was preceded in death by her parents and 4 sisters:Kathryn Preston, Helen Woodworth, Phyllis Myers and Ilah Donaldson. Imogene was a homemaker and had worked for the West Noble School Corporation for over 10 years. She was a 1936 graduate of Topeka High School and was a member of Ligonier United Methodist Church. A Funeral Service in her honor will be held at 10 A.M. Wednesday February 27, 2013 at Ligonier United Methodist Church. Pastor Byron Kaiser will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday February 26, 2013 from 5-8 at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN.
