Karen Sue Westrick

Karen Sue Westrick, 59, of Cromwell, passed away at her home on Sunday, Morning December 16, 2012. She was born on August 30, 1953 to Calvin E. & Amy (Mayes) Straw. She married Nicholas Westrick on December 19, 1997 in Angola.

He survives with a daughter, Autumn Hassett of Fort Wayne, and a son, Robert Hassett of Angola. A grandson, Dakota Hassett of Angola, also survives. Mrs. Westrick is survived by 3 brothers: Herb(Bonnie) Clifton of Pleasant Lake, IN; John (Sherri) Clifton of Metz, IN; and Ralph Johnson of Bryan, OH; and 3 sisters:Julie (Steven) Morr of Bryan, OH; Cindy (John) Bryan of Grand Rapids, MI; and Diane (Brett) Johnson of Key Largo, FL. She was preceded in death by her step-father and her mother, Floyd E. and Amy Clifton.

Karen was employed in several area manufacturing factories. She collected cookbooks and enjoyed birdwatching and playing on her computer.

There will be a graveside service in Karen’s honor at 10:30 AM on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Calvary Cemetery in Garrett, IN. Sister Nora Frost with Goshen Hospital will officiate. Marking the day of their 15th wedding anniversary, family & friends will received on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 from 4-7 PM at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South; Ligonier, IN.

Memorial contributions will be given to the family c/o Yeager Funeral Home.
