Kay Marie Edsall

Kay Marie Edsall, of Kimmell, IN passed away at Avalon Village on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at the age of 54. She was born July 10, 1958 in Goshen, IN to Lewis and Genevieve (Johnson) McLallin. She married Steve Edsall on September 17, 1977 in Wolf Lake, he survives. Also surviving are two children; Michael Edsall of Kimmell along with his fiancé, Brandie Hamman, and Angela (Brad) Franklin of Kimmell; a granddaughter Kaylee Morris of Kimmell; her parents, Lewis and Genevieve McLallin of Kimmell; three sisters, Carol (Gary) Seitz of The Villages, FL; Peggy (Daryl) Daniels of Syracuse, IN and Karen (Roger) Stahly of Kimmell; her mother-in-law Jerren Edsall of Kimmell, and a brother-in-law, Brian (Jeri) Edsall of Kimmell. Kay formerly owned Wolf Lake Insurance and Lighthouse Christian Bookstore. She was a Bookkeeping Administrator for STAR Insurance of Columbia City and was a member of Wolf Lake Baptist Church. She was involved with the Relay For Life for many years. Kay liked to sew and enjoyed watching NASCAR and the Colts play football. A funeral service will be held in Kay’s honor at Wolf Lake Baptist Church, 1133 South Main Street; Wolf Lake, IN on Wednesday December 19, 2012 at 10 AM. Pastor Dan Carlson will officiate. Burial will follow at Merriam Christian Chapel Cemetery. Family and friends will be received from 2-7 PM on Tuesday December 18, 2012 at Yeager Funeral Home; 1589 Lincolnway South; Ligonier, IN. Memorial contributions may be directed to Wolf Lake Baptist Church or Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
