Terry Reed, 54, of Cromwell, passed away at 6:20 P.M. Saturday, December 15, 2012 at his home. He was born on August 2, 1958 in St. Louis, MO to Alfred and Margaret Reed. He married Carol Drabenstot in Noble County. Terry is survived by his wife, Carol, and 2 Sons, Tony Drabenstot of Cromwell, Michael of Arizona. 2 Daughters survive: Margaret Reed of Cromwell and Sarah Reed of Washington; a step-daughter, Tina (Jack) Huber of Pierceton, IN. 5 Grandchildren survive. Surviving sisters are Glenda (Ken) Johns of Fort Wayne, IN, Shirley Toso of Washington, Shayla Kirchen of Sequim, WA and Anita Hendrickson of Washington. A brother, Bruce Wayne Homan of Sequim, WA, also survives. Terry was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Dennis Reed. Terry was a Roofer for over 25 years. Most recently, he was a Foreman at Slate Tile Roofing. He enjoyed fishing and camping. He was the family outdoorsman. A funeral service honoring Terry will be on Thursday at 1 P.M. at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN. Pastor Dave Boesenberg with Cromwell United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be at Sparta Cemetery. Family and friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the family c/o Yeager Funeral Home. Below is a note written about Terry by his wife, Carol: Terry was a good loving father and spouse. He would do anything for anyone. He was kind hearted and would go out of his way to help others. He was a very hard working man and only thought of others before he'd think of himself. Everyone that knew him loved him dearly and we are going to miss him dearly.
