Denny K. Anderson

Dennis K. “Denny” Anderson, 62, of Ligonier, passed away at 11:20 A.M. on Thursday October 25, 2012. He was born on October 18, 1950 in Kennett, MO to John E. Reva M. (Goodwin) Anderson. He married Cindy Cook on December 23, 1992 in Rome City, IN. He is survived by his wife, Cindy, of Ligonier and a son, Seth Edward (Krista) Anderson of Huntington, IN, a daughter, Shawna (Brady) Mullett of Columbia City, IN. 6 Grandchildren survive. His parents, John & Reva Anderson, of Bonne Tarre, MO survive. Denny is also survived by a brother, David (Tammy) Anderson of Farmington, MO and two sisters, Linda (Ron) Marler of Bonne Tarre, MO and Janet (David) Shippee of Manchester, MO. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James A. Goodwin, Elma Goodwin Tipton, Thomas Anderson and Lillian Anderson. Denny founded Anderson Construction in Ligonier and successfully ran it for 30 years. During that time he also built several bridges with Reith- Riley Construction. In recent years, Denny had a hand in internet sales. Denny served his country in the Army in Fort Sill in Oklahoma as well as Korea. A funeral service in Denny’s honor will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday October 30, 2012 at Yeager Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday from 2- 8 P.M. and one hour prior to the funeral. Pastor John Lutton will be officiating. Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be given to Indiana Organ Procurement Association.
